Sigmund von Niedertor descends from a family of the lesser nobility which originally resided in the merchant city of Bozen in Tyrol. Towards the end of the 14th century the family acquires the jurisdiction over Neuhaus and for the half part over Deutschnofen. Around 1400 Sigmund is married to Margareth von Villanders and still childless. Together with his brother Veit he administers the properties of the Niedertor family. Sigmund is represented by Reinhold from Terlan, biologist and chairman of the company.
Heinrich an der Warth is one of the men-at-arms of Sigmund. He is responsible for the armoury and keeps a watch over the squires as well. Heinrich is represented by Christoph from Gossensass, classical philologist and secretary of the association.
The newly hired man-at-arms is responsible for the defence of the castle and all the other properties of the Niedertor. So he commands men-at-arms and squires.
Toni represents a hunter and game keeper in the entourage of the Niedertor. He provides the castle with game and keeps a watchful eye on the hunting grounds. Toni is a doctor and lives in Bozen.
Gertrud is the healer in our group. She is interested in herbology and the preparation of unguents. The bathhouse in Bozen, a property of the Niedertor family, is run by her and is mentioned in several historical documents. Gertrud is represented by Micha, nurse, from Bozen.
Doris is a noblewoman. She takes care of the textile processing (sewing, tiing ribands, yarning...). Sometimes she becomes as well a simple maid. She is represented by Doris, student, Terlan
